Want to customize or replace your impeller? Accurate measurement is key! Today, we'll explain in detail how to measure a centrifugal fan impeller.
1. Prepare Tools.Calipers (vernier calipers, accuracy 0.01mm), micrometer, tape measure, marker.First, clean the impeller surface of dust and oil to avoid measurement errors.

2. Basic Dimension Measurement.First, measure the impeller diameter (diameter of the outer contour of the rear disc), then measure the impeller inlet diameter. Next, we need to measure the impeller height and outlet width. These dimensions will help us determine the compatibility of the new impeller with the existing equipment.

3. Blade Key Parameters.Accurately record the number of blades, then measure the blade length and inlet width. These are key dimensions affecting installation and performance.

4. Plate Thickness Measurement.Measuring the thickness of the rear disc, front disc, and blades. This directly affects the impeller's strength and durability.

5. Shaft Hole and Contour Measurement.Measure the depth and diameter of the shaft hole, then measure the depth and width of the keyway to ensure a precise fit with the spindle. Finally, measure the chord length and arc length of the impeller front disc, and the chord length of the blades, completely recording the impeller profile characteristics.

Impeller mapping is the foundation of custom impellers. Each data point needs to be measured multiple times to ensure accuracy, ensuring stable installation later!
