Bearings, as core components of rotating machinery, experience abnormal temperature rise, one of the most common faults during equipment operation. Here are some possible causes of excessive bearing temperature rise:
1. Severe vibration of the bearing housing.
2. Poor quality or deterioration of the grease or oil, the presence of impurities such as dust, sand, and dirt, or improper filling.
3. The shaft and rolling bearing are installed skewed, with the front and rear bearings mounted at different angles.
4. The outer ring of the rolling bearing rotates (rubbing against the bearing housing).
5. The inner ring of the rolling bearing rotates relative to the main shaft (rubbing against the main shaft).
6. The rolling bearing is damaged or the shaft is bent.
7. Insufficient or interrupted cooling water (for fans requiring water-cooled bearings).
8. Friction between the casing or air inlet and the impeller.
These are common causes of excessive bearing temperature rise. If you have any after-sales questions regarding fans, please feel free to contact us.
