Industrial Dust Collection Fans for an Aluminum Plant

Project Background

SIMO Blower supplied four centrifugal dust removal fans to an aluminum plant for integration into its dust removal system. These fans were configured with specific airflow, pressure, and temperature-resistance parameters to meet the project's technical requirements.

Fan Solutions

For this project, SIMO supplied four centrifugal dust-removal fans with airflow capacities ranging from 30,000 to 70,000 m³/h, total pressures between 5,500 and 8,000 Pa, and operating temperatures of 120 to 150°C.

The fan configurations encompass various models and specifications to meet the project's specific requirements. Some units feature casings, impellers, and inlets made of 316L stainless steel, while the remaining units are configured according to their respective technical specifications.

To support equipment monitoring, the supplied configuration also includes temperature measurement instruments and intelligent vibration monitoring devices.

The two 1600SWB35E3D fans utilize main shafts made of 42CrMo steel.

Configured with gland seals and stainless steel shaft sleeves as required.
