Project Background
A global aluminum giant has a full industrial chain covering bauxite mining to aluminum electrolysis and aluminum processing, with an annual aluminum production of up to 3.88 million tons and an annual alumina production of about 5.13 million tons. Recently, the company has been facing a series of challenges such as old smoke exhaust fan equipment, unstable operation and high energy consumption. After a comprehensive evaluation and strict screening, it finally decided to adopt SIMO's fan products to upgrade and improve efficiency.
The Solution
1.Scientific Design
We use CFD simulation and analysis technology to accurately simulate and analyze key parameters such as airflow distribution, speed and pressure inside the fan, and “customize” a high-efficiency pneumatic model for the customer. The fan is characterized by high operating efficiency, stable performance curve and wide high efficiency zone, which greatly improves the overall performance of the fan.
2.Precision Manufacturing
In the manufacturing process, we adopt laser cutting technology to realize accurate computerized layout and material placement, ensuring high precision of the fan's external dimensions and small deformation. In order to further improve the performance of the fan, we carry out aerodynamic optimization of the flow channel, making the airflow in the flow channel more smoothly. At the same time, the noise elimination treatment of the spiral tongue, combined with the design of sound insulation cladding layer, effectively reduce the noise level of the fan.
3.Strong Core Drive
For the specific working conditions of this project, we designed and launched a high-strength shaft, whose first-order critical speed is more than 1.4 times the working speed, which effectively reduces the axial loss. In addition, we also adopt a high-efficiency collector with a reasonable profile design, which can realize uniform convergence and diffusion of airflow and reduce gas flow loss. Through the optimized cooperation with the impeller clearance, the overall efficiency of the fan is further improved.
After a series of optimized design, to ensure that the fan equipment for high-efficiency operation, tested, the fan operating efficiency of up to 85% or more. With the continuous innovation of our technology, the design and performance of high-efficiency centrifugal fans are still improving, and will also meet more customer needs.
